Expected DA from January 2019

Calculation of Expected DA from January 2019 [ Click to calculate] will be our next topic of interest after 2% DA hike is confirmed from 1.7.2018.

According to the 12 Month Average of AICPIN from July 2017 to June 2018, the DA hike from 1.7.2018 will be 2%. So Total 9% DA will be paid w.e.f. 1st July 2018.

Cabinet Approval for DA hike
The Cabinet Approval for 1 % DA hike from 1.7.2017 was given on 12th September 2017 and 2% DA hike from 1st January 2018 was approved by Cabinet on 7th March 2018

Accordingly, it is expected that the Union cabinet may give its approval for release of Additional instalment of Dearness Allowance 2% from 1.7.2018 in the first week of September 2018.

Calculator for Expected DA from January 2019
We need 12 Months AICPIN from January 2018 to December 2018 to calculate the rate of DA from January 2019. As of now 6 Months are released. By assuming remaining 6 months AICPIN, we can calculate Expected DA from January 2019 Approximately.
