Policy for Transfer and posting of Women Employees

As women employees must take care of their family, a separate transfer Policy for women Employees need to be framed. A question regarding this issue has been raised in the Lok Sabha

Shri. C.S. PUTTARAJU , M.P has sought the answer from the Minister regarding formulation of Transfer Policy for Single women Employees Appointed/Deputed in areas far away from their families and if they want transfer to the station where the family is living.

But Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions informed that Respective Ministries / Departments have their own guidelines / policy for transfer and posting of their employees depending upon the specific requirements of that Ministry / Department.

So there was no such proposal under consideration for appointment and transfer of single women working in all Ministries.
