Two Increment Dates in 7th Pay Commission Approved

As per the Gazette notification issued by government of India, Two increment dates has been granted for Central Government employees. This will be good news for all the central Government employees, as the anomaly of Sixth CPC has been addressed by 7th CPC. The new recruit and retirees will be benefited by this provision of granting two Annual Increment on 1st January and 1st July of every year

The Notification regarding Annual Increment is provided below….

There shall be two dates for grant of increment namely, 1st January and 1st July of every year,
instead of existing date of 1st July; provided that an employee shall be entitled to only one annual increment on either one of these two dates depending on the date of appointment, promotion or grant of financial up-gradation.
