AICPIN for March and Expected DA from July 2017

The hike in DA from July 2017 may not reach 2% as the AICPIN index is moving in sideways trend. This trend shows that AICPIN Point is consolidating at 275.

The Labour Bureau released AICPIN for the month of March 2017. The CPI-IW for March 2017 increased by 1 point and pegged at 275. On one month percentage change it increased by(+)0.36 percent between February 2017 and March 2017 when compared with the increase of (+)0.37 percent between the same two months a year ago.

If we apply one or two point increase in the remaining three months ie April, May and June 2017, the rate of DA from July 2017 gains just 1 percentage increase.

If it remains stationary for coming Months upto June 2017, the hike in DA from July 2017 stays at 1 % increase.

So There is bright chances for 1% increase in DA from July 2017
